Greenest Presented at SBE25 in Zurich

From June 25 to 27, 2025, GreeNest partners from TU Berlin, the INEB, and NTUA participated in the Sustainable Built Environment Conference 2025 (SBE25) in Zurich, Switzerland. The event, hosted by ETH Zurich, brought together leading researchers, practitioners, and policymakers under the theme “Shaping Tomorrow: Systems Thinking in the Built Environment”.

Sina Jansen and Prof. Eike Roswag-Klinge proudly represented GreeNest from TUB, along with Julian Mönig and Prof. Andrea Klinge from the INEB, as well as colleagues from the NTUA. Their presentations showcased GreeNest’s contributions to advancing circular design in architecture, with a focus on DesignByInventory methodology and a concept for prefabricated, circular ceiling construction using waste wood and earth.

The SBE25 conference, which received the ETH Sustainable Event Gold Label, featured keynote speakers, workshops, and site visits, promoting discussions on the future of sustainable construction. With an emphasis on sustainability, circularity, and innovation, the event provided a dynamic platform for exchanging ideas and showcasing transformative approaches to the built environment. The GreeNest team is proud to have contributed to these important discussions and to share forward-thinking solutions for a more sustainable future in architecture and construction.
